Project Renewal, in partnership with Cancer Services Program of Brooklyn, will have a Mobile Mammography Van (ScanVan) at  St. George's on Saturday, August 20, 2016 beginning at 1:30 pm. It will provide screening mammograms for eligible women - aged 40 or older who have not had a mammogram in the past year. This service is free to women who are uninsured. All insurance plans are accepted. Co-payments and deductibles are waived. AN APPOINTMENT IS NECESSARY - PLEASE CALL 1-800-564-6868.

2016 Youth Service

On Sunday, June 26, 2016, St. George's Youth held their annual Youth Service.  The children led the service with the assistance of the adults. Cheki Woodberry, Class of 2016 and EYC President, gave the homily.  The service also included the installation of another Eagle Scout as well as the awarding of scholarships to the graduating High School Seniors. Also recognized were those graduating and/or moving up from nursery to middle school.

Women's Day 2016

St. George's Annual Women's Day celebrated on Sunday, June 5th; Theme "The Wise Woman Builds Her House ... Proverbs 14:1.  Guest speaker at the 10:00 am service will be The Rev. Dr. Cheryl Anthony of Judah International Christian Center.  The Women's Day Afternoon Program - a Luncheon honoring founding members of the Women's Day Committee: Irene Durham, Edwina Johnson, Adelaide Simms & Dr. Mavis Thompson-Blaize.  Tickets: $30.00 pp ~ $20.00 children under 12.  See flyer
